BackgroundI began teaching math in 2013 after spending 10 years in finance, sales, marketing and advertising. I have always had a passion for math, continually utilizing measurement and statistical data to manage decisions with in my life, which I strive to use my experience to build relevance within our lessons and units.
I graduated from Colorado State University back in 2005 with a B.S. in Business Administration. I've worked in industries ranging from Banking, Insurance and Investments, Business to Business Sales, and Online Advertising. Although these roles provided tremendous learning experiences, I was never fulfilled within my situation. I volunteered to coach youth sports leagues since graduating from university, which planted the seed for my passion of teaching and coaching kids, subsequently leading my decision to pursue a career in education and sports. |
